1. General provisions
These Terms of Use apply to ScrapeStorm's web scraping tools, API access, related web interfaces, user accounts, and other service components made available through scrapestorm.net and related domains.
By registering, obtaining access to the service, or using any platform feature, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. If you do not agree with any provision, you must stop using the service.
These Terms apply to both individuals and legal entities. Unless stated otherwise, "you" means any person or organization using ScrapeStorm directly, through a team, or by invitation from an account administrator.
For each user, these Terms take effect on the date of first access to the service, account registration, API key use, or other commencement of actual use of the platform.
Use of the website, dashboard, API, and related documentation pages is treated as use of the service.
2. Changes to the Terms
ScrapeStorm may modify, supplement, or update these Terms at any time when necessary for product development, legal compliance, billing changes, API access model updates, or service infrastructure changes.
Any changes take effect 7 calendar days after publication of the updated version on the website or after notice by email, in the dashboard, through the authentication interface, or by another reasonable method.
Continued use of the service after the notice period means acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the service before the effective date.
3. Privacy and data
The collection, storage, use, and transfer of data related to the use of the platform are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you confirm that you have reviewed it and accept its terms together with these Terms of Use.
You understand and agree that the service may process registration data, technical logs, API metadata, request history, billing data, support tickets, and other service information necessary for platform operation, security, and the performance of obligations to users.
4. Registration and account
Access to certain service features, including the dashboard, credit purchases, API key management, analytics views, and some API methods, requires registration of a ScrapeStorm account.
When registering, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information requested in registration forms, keep it up to date, and maintain its accuracy. ScrapeStorm may limit access to service features if the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading.
You are fully responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including passwords, confirmation codes, access tokens, API keys, and other authentication means. All actions performed through your account are considered your actions unless proven otherwise.
You must immediately notify ScrapeStorm of any suspected unauthorized access, password compromise, token leak, suspicious activity, or other security incident related to your account.
5. API access and status of the parties
ScrapeStorm provides access to its APIs as part of the service. Terms of access, limits, available API methods, request pricing, response formats, plan restrictions, and API key usage rules are governed by these Terms, the documentation, and internal platform rules.
ScrapeStorm acts as the API provider and retains the exclusive right to determine the set of API methods, response structure, limits, technical requirements, caching rules, API version availability, and request processing logic.
Service users act as API consumers. By using the API, you agree to comply with technical and legal restrictions, avoid abusing infrastructure, not attempt to bypass limits, not use the API contrary to applicable law, and not mislead third parties about the origin of obtained data.
ScrapeStorm may monitor, analyze, and restrict API use at its discretion, including without prior notice, where necessary to maintain security, infrastructure stability, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or protection of ScrapeStorm's interests and those of other users.
An API method appearing in the documentation or on the pricing page does not guarantee its indefinite availability in an unchanged form.
6. Payments, credits, and validity periods
Credits are granted after payment confirmation or subscription activation and are used to pay for successful API requests under the current ScrapeStorm plans.
Credits granted through a subscription remain available until the end of the paid subscription period. If a subscription is purchased for one month, unused credits become unavailable at the end of that month; when the subscription renews, a new credit package is granted.
Credits from a one-time purchase remain available for two calendar months from purchase activation. After that period, any unused balance is cancelled and can no longer be used for API requests.
Expired or cancelled credits do not carry over to other periods, are not extended, and are not combined with future grants unless ScrapeStorm expressly states otherwise in an individual offer or written agreement.
7. User content and user materials
When using the service, you may provide support requests, account information, integration settings, feedback, comments, and other materials associated with your use of ScrapeStorm.
You are responsible for ensuring that the materials you provide are lawful, accurate, do not infringe third-party rights, and may lawfully be transmitted to and processed by ScrapeStorm as part of service delivery.
By providing such materials, you grant ScrapeStorm a non-exclusive right to store, process, and use them to the extent necessary to operate the service, provide support, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
8. Restrictions on use
Unless otherwise expressly permitted by ScrapeStorm in writing, you may not:
- Sell, resell, rent, license, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the service, its parts, API keys, access results, or derivative access rights to third parties without written permission from ScrapeStorm.
- Use the service to store, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, unauthorized-access automation, or any other means capable of harming software, hardware, data, or networks.
- Copy interfaces, documentation, API method tables, API structure, usage scenarios, brand elements, or create a competing product that reproduces substantial functions or approaches of ScrapeStorm.
- Interfere with service operation, disrupt availability, overload infrastructure, bypass limits, technical restrictions, billing mechanisms, API method protections, plan restrictions, or security systems.
- Use the service for unlawful purposes, to violate privacy rights, intellectual property rights, third-party platform terms, or other requirements of applicable law.
- Misrepresent the origin of received data, provide unauthorized third parties with access to your account or API keys, or otherwise use the service in a way that undermines platform security and trust.
9. Rights to the service and intellectual property
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all text, code, interfaces, design, documentation, graphics, logos, data schemas, request examples, response templates, visual components, scripts, knowledge bases, and other service materials are owned by ScrapeStorm or used on lawful grounds.
You are not granted ownership rights to the service, its software components, API architecture, documentation, brand identity, or other ScrapeStorm materials, except for a limited, revocable, and non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
Any use of ScrapeStorm materials outside the scope expressly allowed by these Terms requires prior written consent from ScrapeStorm.
10. Copyright, feedback, and external links
ScrapeStorm respects the intellectual property rights of third parties and may restrict or terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe those rights or, in ScrapeStorm's reasonable judgment, use the service for such violations.
Any ideas, suggestions, feedback, comments, or recommendations you provide regarding the product, interfaces, documentation, APIs, plans, or business processes are deemed voluntarily submitted. ScrapeStorm may use them without restriction and without any obligation to pay compensation.
The service may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, data sources, partner resources, or external tools. ScrapeStorm is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, security, or policies, and you use such links at your own risk.
11. Advertising and trademarks
ScrapeStorm may place notices, promotional materials, recommendations, announcements, product messages, and other elements related to the promotion of its own or partner services within the service, where permitted by applicable law.
The ScrapeStorm name, logos, brand identifiers, slogans, interface graphics, and other marks are protected by ScrapeStorm's rights or the rights of the relevant rightsholders and may not be used without prior written permission.
References to third-party brands, products, platforms, domains, manufacturers, or providers in the service do not imply endorsement, affiliation, or official partnership unless explicitly stated otherwise.
12. Suspension and termination of access
ScrapeStorm may at any time fully or partially suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service without prior notice if it believes your actions violate these Terms, create a security threat, harm other users, third parties, ScrapeStorm infrastructure, or the service's business reputation.
This right includes, among other things, blocking accounts, revoking API keys, limiting plan capabilities, temporarily disabling API methods, refusing to process individual requests, restricting billing operations, and ending cooperation.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The service, API, documentation, data, interfaces, tools, content, materials, and all other related elements are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis unless otherwise expressly established by a written agreement between you and ScrapeStorm.
ScrapeStorm makes no express or implied warranties, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, full compatibility, accuracy of results, conformity to user expectations, or absence of service interruptions.
ScrapeStorm does not guarantee that the service, its servers, API responses, email notices, or other communication channels are free from errors, delays, inaccuracies, failures, vulnerabilities, or other undesirable components. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
Technical limitations, changes on third-party platforms, and characteristics of data sources may affect the completeness, structure, and stability of API responses.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ScrapeStorm, its employees, officers, contractors, affiliates, suppliers, and partners from any claims, demands, costs, losses, expenses, and liabilities, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the service.
This obligation applies, among other things, to violations of these Terms, unlawful use of the API, infringement of third-party rights, use of your account by third parties, abuse of infrastructure, and any actions performed using your credentials or API keys.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScrapeStorm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, reputational, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, downtime, loss of business information, costs of substitute services, or other indirect losses arising from use of or inability to use the service.
ScrapeStorm is also not liable for actions of third parties, changes in policy or technical behavior of third-party platforms, blocking of data sources, source-side access restrictions, network failures, or actions of providers, hosting platforms, CDNs, payment systems, and other external actors affecting service operation.
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, ScrapeStorm's total liability for any claim related to use of the service may not exceed USD 100 or the amount actually paid by you for the last 30 days of service use, whichever is lower.
16. Dispute resolution
Any disputes, claims, or disagreements related to use of the service, access to the API, payments, access restrictions, violation of these Terms, or other aspects of interaction with ScrapeStorm are subject to mandatory arbitration unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If applicable law allows small claims court or a similar simplified procedure, the user may use that mechanism only within the scope and subject to the requirements of the relevant jurisdiction.
Before initiating a formal dispute, the parties must make a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter through official ScrapeStorm communication channels.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and apply to the maximum extent permitted.
